My name is Brian Rogge. I am a native Montanan born in Havre and raised throughout the state. My relationship with music began in the womb. My parents performed as the Electric Cowboys Band and regularly participated in jam sessions with friends and at nursing homes. These early exposures to music planted in me a seed of wonder that pushed a pursuit of music education.

I began violin lessons at the relatively old age of seven and piano shortly after. I have performed in the Billings Youth Orchestra, led the Helena High School Orchestra, Montana State University Symphony as Principal Second Violinist, and Helena Symphony as well as the MSU Chorale. While earning my Bachelors degree in Music Education, I studied under the world-famous Angella Ahn for five arduous and fruitful years. I taught private violin and viola lessons in Bozeman for three years before moving back to Helena for my student teaching. As the final portion of my degree program, I taught the Helena High School and Capital High School orchestras with Mr. Zach Harris and general music with Ms. Abigail Nyhof at Central and Warren Elementary Schools.

My passion is to inspire youth with the enjoyment and understanding of music, starting in Helena, MT!   Picture was taken by my wife on our honeymoon at Cannon Beach, Oregon. My philosophy is that music is like the ocean:
present for exploration and limitless in its vast depths.
