Happy New year! I hope everyone’s holidays were safe, exciting, and filled with music.
I have a bad habit of neglecting these posts, but here we are with some updates for the new season.
I am planning a recital for all of my current students to perform and share their progress with friends and family. Many will play solos and I plan on all my students playing together at least once. I will send reminders via text and email. I will also need input regarding the best date and time so everyone can attend. This will be my first recital as a teacher! I hope you are all as excited as I am.
Congratulations to my middle school students on their holiday performance and to my high schoolers for their concert. Thank you to Mr. Reiter, Mr. Cleary, and Mr. Harris for their hard work in preparing the orchestras.
Finally, let me know how I can do better as a teacher and communicator, and I welcome all suggestions you may have.
